When making veneer veneer, there are strict requirements on the quality of its substrate, because this will directly affect the final product quality of the veneer.
The first point, the surface of the veneer veneer paper substrate should be smooth and smooth, without obvious warpage, and the warpage degree should not exceed 1%. The second point is that for substrates with defects such as large color difference and many knots, they should be sorted and processed separately in batches. The third point, the substrate should also have sufficient bonding strength, reaching the national standard of 0.7MPa or more, without bubbling, degumming and corner defects. The fourth point is that the moisture content of the substrate should generally be controlled below 14%. If the moisture content is too high, local bubbling will easily occur during the hot pressing of the veneer.
Veneer veneer paper is often used in furniture production, so its quality is very important, so manufacturers should pay special attention to these issues when choosing substrates.
