How to use self-adhesive decorative film to create a display cabinet for exhibits at low cost

We often see display cabinets in museums, art exhibitions, specialty stores and other places, which are full of cultural relics, collectibles, artworks or some sales products. The function of these showcases is to show the characteristics and selling points of the items themselves.
So ordinary people's requirements for showcases are not as high as those for cultural relics or works of art. How to create relatively textured showcases at low cost? The easiest way is this——Use the board as the base layer, cover it with a layer of wood grain melamine paper, and then add a layer of glass cover on top.

Specific operation steps:
First, use a board to create a three-dimensional counter. The uneven place is leveled with oily putty, and the surface of the cabinet is smoothed. Evenly brush the surface of the cuboid with a layer of primer (primer: water = 1:3) and wait for the primer to dry before proceeding. Lamination: ① Divide the six sides into four pieces of wood grain melamine paper to paste
② First tear off ten centimeters for positioning
③ Use a wool scraper to remove the air bubbles on the plane
④ Press hard with your hand on the outer corner to make the corner stick more firmly and prevent hollowing
⑤ It is best to choose a plane for the lap joint to prevent the interface from being easily worn at the outer corner
⑥ The upper and lower interfaces are also folded from the side first, and then covered with film
⑦ Use a lighter or a heat gun to heat and shape the last corner to prevent air from entering
5. Press the glass on top of the cabinet.
