Reasons for pleating or breaking of melamine dipped paper
During the production process of melamine dipped paper, sometimes pleats or paper breaks may occur. What is the reason for this? Let's take a look.
It may be that the brake of the uncoiler is too strong and the position of the guide roller is wrong when the melamine dipped paper is produced, or the pressure roller on the prepreg roller is too close to the prepreg roller. It is also possible that the tension of the paper dipped in the glue tank is too high, or the tension of the paper in the dryer is too high. Then it is caused by the inappropriate volatile content of the paper from the first dryer to the anilox roll. This problem is also caused by the uneven weight of the base paper, wrinkles, cracks or insufficient wet tensile strength of the base paper.
If the melamine dipped paper is pleated or broken, it is mainly caused by these aspects. I hope you can understand this.
