When using wood grain melamine paper for decoration in a large area, the requirements for the substrate will be higher, so how to make the effect after filming better, you need to pay attention to the following points. Treatment method of wood grain melamine paper base layer:
1. Clean the base surface. The surface of the base layer should be kept clean and tidy, so the glue marks or the parts that fall off the surface layer should be handled well.
2. The concave part should be leveled. In other construction processes, nails or drills may be used to make small holes on the surface of the board, so it is necessary to fill these holes with putty, and compact the interior of the base layer, so that there can be no vacancies.

3. After the putty is dry, use an electric sander to smooth the surface of the putty and the surface of the base layer to make the filming environment smoother and not easy to pack.

4. Apply primer. The primer will penetrate into the base, and after drying, it will have a chemical reaction with the back glue of the wood grain melamine paper, increasing the viscosity between the base layer and the wood grain melamine paper.
5. Finish off with a heat gun. In winter, when the temperature is low, the stickiness of the wood grain melamine paper adhesive will decrease, so it is best to turn on the air conditioner during construction to keep the room temperature relatively high, which can maintain the stickiness of the wood grain melamine paper back adhesive. Finally, use a heat gun for heat treatment to make the wood grain melamine paper better fit the substrate.
