Everyone wants to use furniture for a long time when buying furniture, so they will buy home decoration paper, because it can not only protect the furniture but also decorate the style of the furniture, so what kinds of home decoration paper are there? Decorative paper takes you to learn more about it.
1 Tissue paper
Tissue paper has low basis weight, tight paper quality, smooth surface of base paper, good printability, certain covering and strength, base paper After printing, it can be painted or unpainted, and the unpainted veneer needs to be painted. Products coated with unsaturated polyester resin are called Polaroids. For the coated tissue paper, some can be re-coated, while others are not.
2 Pre-painted paper
Pre-painted paper originates from Europe, the basis weight is 40～200g/m2, the low basis weight is used for veneer, and the high basis weight is used to make edge banding. Pre-painted paper requires special dip coating equipment to produce, so most of them still need to be imported, and only Guangdong and Zhejiang are produced in China. Pre-painted paper has better texture than thin paper and is more wear-resistant. It is mainly used in furniture making, and the amount is increasing.
3 High pressure melamine impregnated paper
High pressure melamine impregnated paper is used for high pressure melamine decorative laminates (HPL, commonly known as fire board) production. HPL is made of a layer of surface paper, a layer of decorative paper, and several layers of bottom paper, and then made by high pressure method. It is mainly used in the production of interior decoration of train cars, working furniture and cabinets. In the 1960s, Beijing Guanghua Timber Factory and Shanghai Yangzi Timber Factory began to produce HPL. At that time, the decorative paper used was domestic paper, and the ink, printing, and plate making were all handled domestically. In 2000, foreign HPL entered the Chinese market. In contrast, the gap was too large. Only then did Yangzi Lumber Factory first introduce German-made decorative paper, which made the domestic HPL look brand new.
4 Low pressure melamine impregnated paper
Low pressure melamine impregnated paper is suitable for low pressure veneer (LPL), mainly used for veneer processing of particleboard, MDF, HDF, etc., and then used in furniture, floor, indoor decoration, etc. The low-pressure method was successfully developed in Germany in the 1960s and introduced to my country in the mid-1980s. At that time, the basis weight of the decorative paper used was 100-120g/m2 and 80g/m2, which had to be imported from Europe. In the mid-to-late 1990s, with the localization of laminate flooring and the development of work furniture, the demand for low-pressure melamine-impregnated paper increased sharply. In 2006, the annual domestic demand for melamine-impregnated paper reached 79,000 tons.
