A brief discussion on the quality analysis of ecological board decorative paper

The quality of decorative paper produced by the company is close to that of foreign products, representing the domestic first-class level, but the quality of some domestic paper is still far from imported paper, mainly in the following aspects. Let's take a look at the melamine impregnated paper.

1. Light resistance
Light resistance refers to the ability of decorative paper to resist ultraviolet light. The decorative paper with good light resistance is added with anti-ultraviolet light raw materials in the ink, and the color remains unchanged for several years. In 2005, the national standard of 'Dipped Adhesive Film Paper Finished Wood-based Panels' clearly stipulated the light resistance performance, requiring light resistance to reach level 6 or above to meet the service life of more than 10-15 years.
2. Thermal stability
Decorative paper should be subjected to a high temperature test of 170°C during the process of impregnating resin and hot pressing veneer, and there should be no fading or yellowing phenomenon at high temperature. However, the color of some domestic paper after hot pressing is obviously different from the original.
3. Adhesion of the ink
The printing ink should be able to firmly fix the pigment on the paper, and the pigment will not flow or fade when the good ink is dipped and hot pressed. If the adhesion is poor, the pigment will stick to the backing plate during hot pressing, resulting in floating color on the surface of the product.
4. Patterns and patterns
Imported paper patterns and patterns are designed by senior professional designers according to the annual international fashion trends. The patterns are realistic and smooth, and the colors are natural and soft. Poor decorative paper has rough patterns, inconsistent color matching, double printing, eye fatigue after long-term viewing, and feels uncomfortable.
5. Color difference
It is generally difficult to see the color difference with the naked eye with the good base paper, and the color difference of the poor decorative paper is obvious.
6. Spots and joints
Poor decorative paper has many stains and joints, which affects the quality of the board surface.
